The Alley

3rd & 4th Grade

Do you have a 3rd or 4th grade child? Have you noticed that they are starting to question everything around them? We have. And we have designed something special for them at Highpoint that takes advantage of this time in their lives. At around nine to ten years old a child starts to internalize his/her faith. The Alley is designed to encourage the children to meet these questions head on and to work through the tough issues they will face. The kids experience a fun and relevant large group as well as application time in small group. The Alley is something you don't want your kids to miss! See you there!

Partnering with Parents

Each week your child will bring home a refrigerator door sheet. Please use this sheet to talk to your kids during the week about what they learned in The Alley. You will see the monthly virtue and bible verse on the refrigerator door sheet. Encourage your kid to memorize the verse and learn to apply the bible truths to his/her life. The Alley kids will also bring home God Time Cards. These cards are a guide for your kid to have a priority time. The cards also have guided interaction with the parents during the week. Please encourage your kid to use the God Time card daily to begin a priority time.
