Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program
based on 8 principles from the Beatitudes. Classes focus on freeing individuals
from a multitude of hurts, habits, and hang-ups. New groups begin Thursday, February 5th at 6:30 PM at Briarcrest. Men, please contact Van Jones (683-5818) or Kelley Hendrix (213-9075). Women, please contact Donna Donato (832-7665).
Divorce Care
Divorce Care is a group that takes a biblical approach to divorce, separation and related issues such as reconciliation, remarriage, forgiveness, and the effect of divorce on children and families. Divorce Care emphasizes that real healing from the intense pain of divorce must begin with the personal relationship with Jesus Christ. DC will meet for 13 weeks from February-May. This group will start on February 5th at 6:30 PM at Briarcrest.
Cost: $20 (scholarships available)
Divorce Care for Kids
Divorce Care 4 Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At a weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents. We combine games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where kids feel comfortable and accepted. DC4K is for kids 5-12 years of age and will meet for 13 weeks from February-May. This group will start on February 5th at 6:30 PM at Briarcrest.
Cost: $25 (scholarships available, discounts available for multiple children)
Life Hurts, God Heals
LHGH is specifically for students who have experienced pain or addiction including: drinking, pornography, eating disorders, troubled family dynamics, etc. LHGH is an 8-step group targeted specifically for students in middle school through college age, and is based on the Beatitudes from the Bible. LHGH will meet for 13 weeks from February-May. This group will start on February 5th at 6:30 PM at Briarcrest.
