Loving the Wolverines

In 2008, Highpoint Church began what would become a partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Overton High School.  The vision of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.  Our church community has formed teams that lead, organize, and execute FCA events at Overton. They encourage and support athletics and clubs by involvement in games, devotionals, and tutoring. Mentoring relationships have developed by committed individuals pouring their lives into students and loving them towards God and success. In the fall of 2009, Highpoint church began a fast that led to over $40,000 raised to put towards sending Overton students to BigStuf camp. Over the last year God has blessed this outreach and many lives have been changed.
