Kindergarten-4th grade

Mainstreet at Highpoint is a fun and exciting time for the kids! We follow a large group/small group format. Children start off in their classrooms for activity stations (i.e. crafts & games) and then head to large group to worship and hear the day’s Bible story. We have a permanent stage, video, music, and more! Afterward, children go back to their rooms to break up into small groups. This time enables each leader to work with a small group of children to help them to see how the lesson they just learned applies to their life today. Each connection group room is broken down by grade.  At 10:45 3rd and 4th grades are also split up by gender.

Partnering with parents

Each week your child will bring home a refrigerator door sheet. Please use this sheet to talk to your kids during the week about what they learned in Mainstreet. You will see the monthly virtue and bible verse on the refrigerator door sheet. Encourage your kid to memorize the verse and learn to apply the bible truths to his/her life. 3rd and 4th grade kids will also bring home God Time Cards. These cards are a guide for your kid to have a priority time. The cards also have guided interaction with the parents during the week. Please encourage your kid to use the God Time card daily to begin a priority time.
