As Christian women in the 21st Century, we are called to fulfill so many roles in our homes, careers, and relationships.
At Highpoint, we want to come alongside women and provide opportunities for us to learn God’s word and to build relationships with other women that can encourage us on the journey. Through weekly morning and evening Bible studies and connection events throughout the year, we desire to get you equipped in God’s Word and connected to other Christian women.
EQUIPPING
The Highpoint Women’s ministry provides Bible studies on a semester system. Each semester women meet onThursday mornings and evenings to be challenged by God’s truths and todiscuss how to apply the truths to our lives. Authors studied have included Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, Henry Blackaby, and Priscilla Shirer. Semesters generally run 10 weeks and start in January and August. The morning and evening studies provide child care and are located atPoplar & I-240 at Briarcrest Christian School's east location. Complete list of Equipping Classes
LADIES BIBLE STUDY, FALL SEMESTER '10: Starting August 19th
COVENANT by Kay Arthur, Thursday Mornings
Everything God does is based on Covenant. We hear the word usually
in the context
of a wedding ceremony, but do you really understand how precious the
concept of
covenant is to our entire existence as believers? Come learn about how
God establishes and keeps His covenant
promises. This 9 week study will
explore the concept of covenant woven through the Old and New Testament
leaving
us more in love and more at peace knowing we serve a covenant-making,
promise-keeping God.
FORGOTTEN GOD by Francis Chan, Thursday Evenings
Join the women of Highpoint on Thursday evenings for this
thought provoking study of the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of a
believer. We often dwell on Jesus
and God, but we overlook God’s intentional design for the Holy Spirit’s
activity in our daily lives. Designed to help us move beyond our habits
of
neglect and pursue a life defined by the Holy Spirit, this study will
bring a
balanced biblical perspective on the Holy Spirit and challenge you to
consider
the implications for your life.

opportunity for an amazing combination of fun and focus. Enjoy time
connecting with other Highpoint women and prepare yourself to be
inspired by great Highpoint worship and guest speaker, Judy Reamer.
Judy's humorous style and dead-on truths will make this a weekend to
remember. Judy will help us discover how to keep moving forward even

Want to find women in your stage of life? Want to meet women who have been a little further down the road? Want to be available to younger women? Starved for meaningful relationships with Christian women? Join us at our next Highpoint Women’s Connection event. We will gather 5 to 6 times a year in a variety of formats and styles, but one thing is always true - we want you to get connected. We encourage any woman over 20 to come and get to know other women in the life of Highpoint. We were not designed to live the Christian life in isolation… come have some fun and get connected!
