Highpoint Kids Birth - 6th Grade

At Highpoint, we love kids. When you walk in a GraceLand preschool room, a Mainstreet elementary small group, or Highway 56 preteen class you can tell - we are full of people who love teaching children.  Every Highpoint Kids environment is carefully crafted to meet the needs of your children.

We believe church should be fun! We use skits, games, songs and more to bring God's Word to life for kids. Just like adults, kids have a small group made up of peers and a large group worship environment created just for them.

Bible-based curriculum

Every week, your child will learn truth from God's Word through a Bible story, memory verse, and application activities. Each week's lesson builds upon a foundational truth. Beginning at age one, preschoolers are learning God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Elementary age kids are learning what it means to have biblical wisdom, faith, and friendship. 

Safe and Secure

When you arrive, a friendly volunteer will be ready to help you get your kids checked in for HP Kids. Safety is top priority! We use a state of the art check-in system and security checkpoints to ensure that kids are protected.  You can pre-register your children online prior to attending on Sunday.

When you check into HP Kids, you will receive a parent tag and your child will get a name tag with a matching 3 digit code.  If we need you for any reason, we will put this code up on the screen in the worship service. You will also show your parent tag at each security checkpoint and at your child's classroom at pick up time.  No one is allowed to enter our safe and secure hallways without a parent or volunteer tag, so be sure to keep up with this tag.  

HP Kids has an amazing group of volunteers who love kids and enjoy teaching kids about Jesus.  These volunteers have been through a screening process, including reference and background checks, so we know your kids are safe. Many of our volunteers serve each and every week so that they can truly invest in the lives of kids.  

Partnering with parents

And it doesn’t stop there…we believe parents should be the biggest spiritual influence of your child’s life. Each week we provide our parents tools to help you continue the conversation at home.  Our Family Ministry team offers opportunities throughout the year to partner with parents by addressing specific real life topics from a Biblical perspective.
