Mainstreet (Kindergarten-4th grade)

Mainstreet at Highpoint is a fun and exciting environment for your elementary kids! Each month in Mainstreet we introduce a new virtue and memory verse. Through a Bible-based curriculum your child will learn truth in an age-appropriate way. Elementary age kids are learning what it means to have biblical wisdom, faith, and friendship.

Your child will begin with time in a classroom with a small group of friends, and then join together with multiple classes for a large group worship environment called KidCity.  In KidCity kids will hear the day's Bible Story in a truly unique way. We have a permanent stage, video, music, and more! Afterward, children go back to their rooms to break up into small groups. This time enables each leader to work with a small group of children to help them to see how the lesson they just learned applies to their life today. The small group time is fun too! We use games, crafts, and other activities to bring the Bible story to life in a way that kids will understand.

Highway 56 (5th and 6th grade)

We know there is an age where your child has out grown the kids ministry, but is not quite ready for student ministry. That's why we created a unique environment just for kids in 5th and 6th grade. Through a specially designed curriculum created just for preteens, your child will walk through the Bible from start to finish. Highway 56 also has small groups on Wednesday nights at 6:30. Your child can join in with a group of close friends to grow spiritually and build relationships.

On Sundays Highway 56 meets only during the 10:45 service hour. We encourage 5th and 6th graders to worship during the 9:00 service with family or friends. Kids are invited to sit together with the Highway 56 leaders during the 9:00 service if their parents do not attend this service.

Partnering with Parents

We know that parents are the biggest spiritual influence in a child's life, so we want to come alongside parents and partner with them as they raise their children. We believe that no family is perfect! We will be there every step of the way on your parenting journey to help and equip you as your child grows up.

Your first step is to use the parent resources we provide each time your child comes to Highpoint Kids. In Mainstreet, your child will bring home two resources each Sunday to help you continue the conversation at home. Highway 56 kids will bring home a guide to lead them through spending daily time reading the Bible and praying with God. You can look over these each week to get an idea of what your child is learning at Highpoint Kids.
