Baptism
Going Public at Highpoint
Highpoint Church believes that baptism is a public sign of identification with the message and mission of Jesus Christ. It is an outward sign of the life change that has already begun in the life of a believer after they have entered into new life with Christ. At Highpoint Church we prefer to baptize through immersion following the model of Christ's baptism and that of the first century church. Baptism as an act of identification with the message does not aid salvation, wash away sins, or serve as entrance into a church body, but rather is the proclamation of a believer's identification with Christ and a first step in the process of discipleship. To hear more about baptism, listen to this
message from Lead Pastor,
Chris Conlee. If you have any additional questions about what Highpoint believes about baptism, please email
Lead Pastor Chris Conlee.
